Shun Premier 6.5″ Serrated Utility Knife

From the makers of Japan's finest cutlery comes this Premier collection with a unique new "tsuchime" finish. Hand-hammered texture creates cavities with an effect similar to hollow-ground, reducing drag for a gliding cut and quick release.

Durable VG-MAX steel core is clad with 34 layers of high-carbon stainless steel on each side for maximum strength and stability. Oblong PakkaWood handle nestles comfortably in the hand; stainless handle cap embossed with the Shun logo adds balance and beauty.

These knives will never rust or corrode if properly maintained. The high-carbon blade of this serrated utility knife neatly slices, dices, minces and chops delicate foods without compression.

Each exquisite Shun knife is carefully crafted in a 100-step process inspired by ancient sword smiths. The amazing razor-sharp blades are created in Seki City, Japan's 700-year-old center for samurai swords.
