“A Distinguished Member of the Humane Society” 14″ x 11″ Framed Wall Art Print

Popular among 19th-century dog owners, pet portraits were often commissioned to commemorate a favorite canine. The speckled coloring, pink tongue and silky black-and-white coat of this distinguished setter are noted in striking detail, and the animal's form dramatically lit to suggest the dog's inner character.

All the nuance of the original oil painting is beautifully captured in our giclee print on canvas. Presented in an antiqued silver frame, the print lends a clubby, Victorian vibe to an office or den.
